Whilst the introduction of the new code is great for the transparency and quality of the industry, it has increased the responsibility of the design engineer within the design process. Anchor Critical provide a full report of all tested anchors by a qualified structural engineer. At the end of the day your peace-of-mind is the highest priority.

For Installers

AS5216:2021 covers the installation of anchors (post-installed fixings) as one of its key components. It states "The installer of the fastener should possess the necessary experience and competency in undertaking the installation of the fastener as per the manufacturer's installation instructions".
